Educational School Field Trips at Jones Family Farm!

Teachers and youth leaders, offer a great day of fun and education with our educational school and family field trips to Jones Family Farm in Edgewood, Md.We invite you and your children to our farm for our 2025 Educational School Field Trips!
Please contact Allison at allison@jffmd.com or 443-504-2187 for more information, and to book your field trip before we fill up.

Our field trips are during the month of October for pre-school to second grade children! Not only do the children get to pick pumpkins, they also get to pick vegetables!

The field trip is a complete educational experience where we teach the children the life cycle of different vegetables and of course pumpkins. They actually get to see the vegetables growing in the field and learn how to pick and cook them while they are on the farm.

The tour lasts about an hour to an hour and a half and can include a tractor hayride or can be a walking tour of the farm where we make three stops usually at the corn maize, the radish/turnip/kale field, and the pumpkin patch. Sometimes we even get to pick peppers!

We could not continue to keep this family tradition alive without the support of schools, parents, and teachers like you. We believe in teaching the next generation about where their food comes from and giving them a “one of a kind” farm experience at our family’s farm! We love sharing our love and passion for Agriculture to the future of our country, your children.
