What's in my shares?

Everything is grown locally, so you will receive whatever is in season, a mixture of fresh vegetables and fruits. On some days you will also receive our Local honey, fresh herbs, or Allison’s Cut Flowers too!

Can I interrupt my service when we are out of town?

While we would appreciate notice that you will not be picking up your share, we cannot provide credit for a week you will miss. However, you will receive a CSA membership card that you can give to a friend or family member on a day you cannot pick-up and they can pick-up for you. Otherwise, your share for the week will be donated to the local food bank.

Delivery Share?
Let us know if you would like to skip a delivery week.

What if I am not home when you deliver?

We will give you a time slot for delivery. If you are not home, we will leave on the front step, a shady spot, or another agreed upon delivery spot. Let us know your requests!

Can I upgrade to a larger share?

Yes, just let Allison know if you would like to upgrade after the first week of receiving your CSA and she will let you pay the difference between the full and the half share for the season!

What if I do not know how to use (or even recognize!) the vegetables and fruits that appear in my basket?

Don’t worry! We love including recipes or sheets like “8 Things to Do with a Cucumber!” to help you learn about new foods and cooking those “crazy vegetables!”

We are also always available by phone or email if you ever have any questions.

Is it possible to convert to a half share from a full share once the season starts or do you offer refunds?

There are no downgrades or refunds. The best part about the CSA is that of a seasonal commitment of our farm to your family or your family to our farm. If you are unsure about which share to purchase, we suggest go small because you can always increase later.

Our rule of thumb is to consider your family size. If you have a family of 4 or more and love to cook, you can definitely use a full share. If it is just you and the husband and this is your first time trying a CSA, maybe start with a half share unless you love to cook and want an adventure, go with the full share! We know that joining the CSA will be one of the best decisions you ever made!

Is the produce organic?

We require no chemicals to preserve our vegetables and fruits, since they will be picked ripe and available immediately to you as farm fresh vegetables. We use minimal if any non-organic treatments for pest control. If you have questions about this, just ask!

How do I pay?

We accept credit cards, checks and cash. You can bring your payment to us at the farm, or mail it in with your application.

For your convenience, credit cards can also be used either at the farm, or make your payment online using your Visa, Discover, American Express, Venmo, or Paypal.

Is there a deadline for signing up?

Allow we encourage everyone to sign-up by June 17th at the latest to avoid late fees, we will not turn you away if you hear about your friend who is loving their CSA and you want to “jump in!” Late memberships during the season will be granted on a case-by-case basis so just ask!
